I'm bubbly witty and enthusiastic. I tend to feel it is
almost my duty to make other people feel happy and at ease.
I genuinely love to put a smile on someone else's face. I
have a fairly happy disposition and don't get angry about
much but can't stand witnessing discrimination or bullying.
I'm a supporter of gay marriage and I don't believe for one
minute that immigration is the source of all our trouble as
a country! If you feel differently on those two issues I
think there is a good chance we would disagree on a
lot.
I grew up in Ireland but to English parents so don't
haven't much of a brogue. However I do have a stock of
cracking Irish jokes!
I like crafts. Looking, buying and
doing. I do patchwork myself and have also dabbled in
pottery and millinery. I read a lot. Don't try to draw me on
the Kindle v. Paperback debate. I have both and love both. I
love to travel and to swim in the sea and to go barefoot so
my ideal holiday combines bit if beach with a bit of
sightseeing. I went to Istanbul last year before a week on a
gulet. That was perfect. Closer to home I love narrowboats
and would like to do the Norfolk Broads. Also love seaside
towns.
Appearance
My looks? Well my eyes are a varying shade of blue and my
hair is various shades of grey so things can be
unpredictable. But for the most part I am told I scrub up
well.
My best features? Eyes and smile for the romantics.
Bum and boobs for the rest of you. I don't like my legs. I
lost my ankles somewhere in the nineties and have never
managed to find them again.
Style? Long floaty dresses in
the summer. Long tops and leggings in the winter. Chest
fairly well exposed to regulate temperature! I basically
dress fir comfort but that includes looking pretty if I can.
Love getting dressed up and taken out. (hint hint)
Looking for
I have a secure job, nice home, car, cat and family. So my
life is comfortable. What I'm missing is the fun to be had
with a partner. With the right person DIY and gardening can
be fun. Then a night away in a romantic B&B or fancy hotel
as a reward. Exploring a new city or splashing about in the
sea or rolling in the sand. Someone to have adventures with
but also someone whose hugs feel like home.
If my age or
older you must be young at heart. If younger you must be
mature enough for me to rely on - a man not a
manchild.
Although I am large myself my tastes are not
really that way inclined. Lean and firm is the preference
even though I know it is hypocritical of me. I also know
that blue eyes are my weakness.
