General Information

Hmmm, OK not sure how to do this (fancy that, a bird who
struggles to talk about herself?!) - I'll give it a go
though....... I'm bubbly, active and always up for a laugh.
I work as a PA in the education sector and love my job -
being around children is an added bonus; there's never a
dull moment working in a school of nippers! I enjoy music;
a massive indie bird at heart with James as one of my all
time favourite bands. My music taste doesn't end there
though; it's very eclectic and I enjoy going to all kinds of
different gigs. I have been big on the festival scene
attending the V Festivals for 10 years straight although
that fell by the wayside as the likes of Eminem and Rhianna
began to headline! I'm yet to frequent at Leeds and
Glastonbury so would be interested to speak to guys who are
into this! I used to tinker about in a band for a good few
years which fizzled out in my mid-twenties but I have
recently started writing again and I'm enjoying it - I don't
play an instrument but would love to learn to play the piano
one day. I enjoy doing my bit for charity when I can; I
organised a charity walk up Mount Snowdon a few years back
and a barn dance afterwards. It was my aim to raise �3K but
I ended up raising �6K so it was a roaring success, I would
love to do it again. I love the great outdoors; Snowdonia
is one of my favourite places on earth so far along with the
seaside. I love travelling; this year I have been to New
York, Spain and Greece - I love the airport and the
excitement of going on a plane!! You would have to fight me
for the window seat! I LOVE New York; it is a place I would
never tire of visiting - I've been three times and I'm not
even nearly done with it yet. In the next few years I would
love to see more of America and visit Thailand. I love
stand up comedy and going to the theatre, I love nights in
and nights out. I love a pint of lager and lime and having
a bit of a dance when I go out (albeit if I wind up dancing
like Roy Chubby Brown!) I am the eldest of the children in
my family and I am close to two of my brothers and my Dad.
I am the mad Auntie Clair to my nieces and nephews (some of
which are my close friends' children). I have a fantastic
network of friends who are the salt of the earth, two of
which are a gay couple who I share a house with which I love
- I get incredibly bored living on my own! I love films; a
bit of girly stuff like Sex and the City, the Carry on
Films, An Idiot Abroad, films about diasters (bit weird like
that!) I'm fascinated by all things paranormal and although
I'm scared stiff watching horror films, I'm intrigued! So
they can be on but I've got to have a cushion at the
ready! I'm quite girly; I love my Mac and Clinique make up,
shoes, handbags, jewellery and perfumes. I love pretty
underwear and clothes, having a massage, flowers, pedicure
and nails done now and again. I'm not an overly-done dolly
bird though!

Appearance

I'm 5.2", blonde hair (out of a bottle I'm afraid, but still
classy!), green eyes - which are lovely so I'm told! I
won't lie, I'm a big girl - a size 24 at the top and 22 on
the bottom but I am currently working on this at the gym and
following a weight loss plan. I don't like being overweight
but you've got to work with what you've got eh?! I dress
well for my size making sure my clothes are flattering,
feminine and modern. I do love my adidas gazelles but I
equally love my heels.

Looking for

I don't really know what I'm looking for apart from a bit of
banter and a laugh with men that are fun. I've been single
for quite some time which has been my choice and I enjoy it
but I'm now liking the idea of potentially sharing good
times with someone. Gig going, festival frequenting, quiet
cosy nights in and good nights out, someone to do some
travelling with to see beautiful places (in this country and
abroad), weekends away, etc. I expect people who contact me
to be open and honest, share the same interests as me and
not take themselves too seriously. I don't really want to
hear from anyone who has a partner.
