So how to describe me in a few lines...
Open, warm,
lively, fun, talkative (to a point), very quick witted,
kind, generous, thoughtful, loyal, stubborn, precise,
considerate, faithful, intelligent, articulate, honest,
committed, understanding, compassionate, principled,
objective, fair, conscientious, resourceful, practical, dry,
analytical and dependable..think that will do for
now!
I'm fairly career minded and enjoy my work in HR
where I specialise in Resourcing & Talent which in essence
is about recruiting the right person and developing their
skills to progress for the future which means I get to meet
lots of interesting people and work out what makes them
tick..certainly keeps my days occupied!
I speak Spanish
fairly well as worked as a Travel Rep in my 20's. The
stories I could reveal to you, although what goes on in
Magaluf stays in Magaluf!
When I have spare time I love
to get out walking, discovering the hidden gems of the UK
countryside and taking in the fresh air -usually with my
friends dog. Ive just taken up a new hobby which is ice
skating and Im serious about it enough to spend �125 on my
first pair of boots! To let my hair down, I also love
nothing more than spending a night out with friends, more so
dining out as opposed to leathering the bars, although I'm
still clutching on to those nights (it just takes a lot
longer to get over them), reading - either crime novels,
true stories or work literature that supports my profession,
TV and films, music (really varied tastes), theatre,
concerts, weekends away, jumping in the car and seeing where
it takes us, glamping (not ready for full on camping yet!),
holidays and travel, cooking, badminton, swimming and the
odd bottle of Sparkling Red Wine ( supplied by my village
Wine Merchant) or decent brandy over an authentic
dinner!
In terms of what I look for in a man (if I had a
wish list that is), it would include somebody who was honest
implicitly,caring, kind, generous, loyal, faithful, witty
(dry witted a huge bonus), intelligent, interesting,
compassionate, dependable, hard working, tenacious, has
good values,skilful, open and articulate and treats others
the same, regardless of their age, race, religion or
personal beliefs( its how I've been brought up so I'd expect
the same in a partner). A great speller is a must and
somebody who shares my pet hate for text speak such as the
use of GR8, LOL and LMAO! A man who has short nails is
important too (I know it sounds weird but can't abide men
with long nails!) and someone who shares my passion for good
quality shoes - a stylish pair of Jeffery Wests (not to be
mistaken with John West or Fred West even!) will get you
bonus points!
