| General Information |
I am diverse: sometimes intense and intellectual, sometimes
laid back-cum-horizontal, and often in between. I dislike
constant intensity or seriousness, but I also dislike people
with no enthusiasm. I am now three years into my second
spell in Edinburgh, having been in South Wales for eight
years. I play tennis at a club and have a fairly usual
range of interests, including music, football, cinema, and
politics. I like running, cycling, driving, and swimming.
I have a 16 year-old son with whom I spend time. I
travelled a bit in the past, but not too much recently. I
especially like San Francisco, Barcelona, Prague,
Copenhagen, Melbourne, and New York. I laugh a lot, sing a
lot, and can talk a bit when in the mood. I love the autumn
and winter. I have had a diverse range of friends
throughout my adult life, who have influenced and enriched
me. Both of my parents are alive and generally well, living
about 40 miles from me. I have a brother and sister. On
books, I love the two John O'Farrell I've read. |

| Appearance |
I am short, coming in at just less than 5'7". I am quite
fit and wiry, with a slim frame. I have little hair left.
I dress quite casually, though I tend to like striking
shirts. My best feature has always been regarded as my
eyes. Not always obvious, since I wear specs a fair amount
of the time. However, I also have contact lenses, which I
wear a fair bit too. My mouth and teeth have sometimes
brought nice words, as have my legs. I often wear a small
gold stud in my left ear. |

| Looking for |
I would like to meet someone who lives quite close by
(within 30 miles). I don't have a list of boxes she must
tick. All I would say is that she must be generally at
peace with herself and the world, and have a life. I tend
to like dark hair, deep and/or husky voices, women with
specs, good teeth, black and asian women, and girl-next-door
types. I also like generous body hair, including underarm.
But none of that is obligatory. It either happens or it
doesn't ...
I am looking for the usual things: nights
out, nights in, laughs, conversation, sex, socialising, and
some tlc, without either of us wanting too much of the other
or becoming obsessed by the other.
