**Update** I haven't been on here for a while because I've
just moved back to North London after 10 years. Bought a
flat in N15 and really enjoying it. I've rediscovered the
joys of cinema and I'm going out to see films a couple of
times a week. A new fitted kitchen has made me keener than
every to cook.
I've just turned 40 (May) and still feel a
little bit too ridiculous to this age. I come across as
gregarious and confident but I am really quite shy and
nervous in many ways. I spend a lot of time watching movies
and fiddling with my computer. I cook a lot and have a
splendid stainless steel fridge to keep everything in;
Indian and Thai are my specialities.
I work in the
charity sector and definitely like people with a
compassionate heart. I have both a personal and academic
interest in Buddhism and have a collection of 200+ Buddha
images. A pseuso practicing Buddhist would be a good way of
describing me.
I've travelled extensively in South and
South East Asia and go on trips there whenever I can -
usually restricted to 4 weeks over the xmas new year period
these days.
At the moment I am really into i) Buying
luxury duvet covers ii) Salads with Turkish bread and olive
oil iii)living in north london again v) World Cinema vi) Mu

Appearance
I'm about 16 stone + at the moment, a shaved head, notable
blue eyes and lots of tattoos (more being done in October)
and some piercings. The tattoos are all tasteful so I don't
look like a brute, more a bear. I dress fairly
non-descriptly, usually swathing myself in goretex. I have
all my own teeth and do not need glasses.
Looking for
I like people that I can share mutual amusement with and
that usually means they are slightly bizarre and make me
laugh and vice-versa, like cinema, have a computer, eat my
cooking and if they have tattoos and intimate piercings all
the better. Take it as read that I like curvey girls but
don't have a set type - cute eyes, cuddly and delicious
kissable lips are a good start, I'm a sucker for dyed hair
too.
I have a huge balcony to decorate so anyone with a
good eye and opinions on balconys would be very welcome atm
;-)
